Wuhan issues action plan to boost AI industry in 2025

WuhanonMonday issued an action plan to spur development of artificial intelligence (AI)industry in 2025.

According to the plan, Wuhan will focus on promoting fivekey aspects, including AIplus robots, AIplus automobiles, AI plusPC andserver, AI plus mobile phones, and AI plus eyeglasses.

In the past five years, the compound growth rate of Wuhan'sAI industry has exceeded 40 percent, driving the scale of related industries to surpass 500 billion yuan. To date, the city has embraced more than 1,000AIenterprises.(en.hubei.gov.cn by Zhang Yawei）
