The 2024 Two Lakes Dialogue, a new bridge for collaboration to help Chinese and international business leaders and policymakers exchange mutual learnings and form new partnerships on green and low-carbon development, is scheduled on July 3-5, in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
Jointly hosted by the China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Hubei, the Hubei Hongtai Group (host of National Carbon Emissions Registration and Clearing Platform), and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), the three-day event has attracted nearly 500 guests from home and abroad to attend the preset thematic sessions or the opening and closing plenary.
At the opening ceremony on July 4, executives from international organizations and multinational enterprises such as WBCSD, Panasonic and Mercedes-Benz will make statements on international industrial cooperation and green and low-carbon development.
During the event, foreign guests will also make inspection tours to local enterprises to learn about Hubei's achievements in new energy automobile industry and carbon market construction, experience Hubei's open and friendly business environment and share thoughts on how to achieve win-win cooperation on green, low-carbon and high-quality development.
